‘Our client contacted us regarding issues with customers slipping on the
existing ceramic flooring and asked us to provide them with a hard wearing,
high slip resistant product.
After a site survey we put together a schedule of works for the approval of
the client. The time restraints on this job meant that the works would start
late at night and be concluded in time for doors to open by 6am the
following morning.
The work started with taking out the existing ceramic tiles to create the
mat well. The new aluminium frames were then installed and the sub floor had
a screed laid to bring the sub floor to the appropriate levels.
An epoxy adhesive was then used to adhere the new matting to the sub floor.
The time and effort put in to the planning for this project enabled a smooth
process for the install and ensured the client was happy with the result,
leading to more entrances to follow.’
