Doncaster Bus Station

‘Our client contacted us regarding issues with customers slipping on the
existing ceramic flooring and asked us to provide them with a hard wearing,
high slip resistant product.
After a site survey we put together a schedule of works for the approval of
the client. The time restraints on this job meant that the works would start
late at night and be concluded in time for doors to open by 6am the
following morning.

The work started with taking out the existing ceramic tiles to create the
mat well. The new aluminium frames were then installed and the sub floor had
a screed laid to bring the sub floor to the appropriate levels.

An epoxy adhesive was then used to adhere the new matting to the sub floor.

The time and effort put in to the planning for this project enabled a smooth
process for the install and ensured the client was happy with the result,
leading to more entrances to follow.’

Exchange Square, London

This major matting refurbishment project was to transform an old
entrance to a prestigious office block in London. The client asked for
us to create a new mat to modernize the look to fit in with the
surroundings. This process started with a site survey and design to
determine how to make this project work to its full potential. The old
rubber and steel matting was removed and the sub floor was rebuilt using
aluminium profiles to create a firm sub base for the new matting to be
installed on to. The new matting was shaped on site to follow the unique
fan shaped structure and created an attractive and effective feature.

Alhambra Shopping Centre Barnsley

Brand conscious Mall Corporation wanted to feature the distinctive ‘M’ logo at the main multi-storey entranceway at Alhambra Centre in Barnsley. General Manager, Mark Broadhead chose UKM Guardsman, colour charcoal, with a UKM Copyrite logo insert panel made to Pantone reference. The installation is a perfect match to the surrounding finishes.

Marks and Spencer Headquarters Paddington

When Marks and Spencer decided to replace the entrance matting at their Paddington Headquarters they looked no further than the system currently specified throughout the store chain.

Building Cleaning Manager at the Paddington facility, Martin O’Neill comments,

‘This new system has really brightened up the entranceway, it’s a tremendous improvement, the adjacent flooring requires far less attention now, whilst the matting itself keeps a much cleaner appearance over the longer period. We are really pleased with installation.
